Oncilla

It is the smallest neotropical feline. Its size is very similar to a domestic cat of large size, with a long and well populated hair tail. The fur color varies from brown reddish grey, and spots tend to form lines or rosettes along the back.

It is an animal of solitary and nocturnal habits, spends the day hidden in vegetation or inside a hollow tree. It is very good climbing and very agile in trees. Their diet consists of rodents, small primates, birds, insects and reptiles. Its ecological importance lies precisely in this: to control populations of mammals and small bird which eats.
